Weather Situation
A low pressure system over far northwest Victoria will move into New South Wales today and weaken. The low will drift southwards back across Victoria during Saturday, crossing Tasmania on Sunday. A high pressure system will develop well south of the Bight on Monday and will extend a ridge over Victoria.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 14 December Cloudy. High (80%) chance of showers in the south, medium (50%) chance elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm with locally heavy falls. Winds northeast to southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h.

Forecast for Saturday 15 December
Cloudy. Patchy fog in the early morning. High (70%) chance of showers, most likely in the afternoon and early evening. The chance of a thunderstorm with locally heavy falls. Winds east to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h turning north to northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h during the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to between 12 and 16 with daytime temperatures reaching 23 to 28.
